Hello, and welcome to Duskrider.com.
This site is the third generation of my personal website.
Here you will find out a little bit about me, and you will also find some examples of my work. My résumé can also be found here.
In case your wondering, duskrider is my online moniker. When I first got plugged into the wonderful tangle of networking bliss we all call the world wide web, I wanted something that was ME but was not EVERYONE ELSE. I wanted something different. I've always thought of the magical hours leading up to night as my favorite time of day. It's the time that hard working men and women from all over are coming home to their families, having dinner, and just relaxing, knowing that they have a full night of precious sleep stretching before them. It's also the best time for cookouts, parties, and taking long walks along the beach (or so I've heard, there isn't much beach in central Illinois, and a long walk amongst the corn sounds too much like a Stephen King novel). I've also rarely had a problem registering for the multitude of online services that we all need with duskrider as my identity.
This web page is pretty easy to
navigate, it's simply a matter of figuring out where you want to go.
All my links are over there on the left. If my nifty little flash nav bar annoys
you (because I know they annoy me sometimes), you can turn it off by clicking
the button that says "Annoying? Click here to turn it off". If you're
saying "What nav bar... all I see is a bunch of links?" That means that you
don't have the flash 5 plug-in. You can get it in my links section, if you wish. The layout of this page is pretty much my
standard, so you'll recognize it if you've been to any of my other web pages.
That's not to say I'm not flexible though :-)
Everything contained within these pages is copyright by Ed Zenisek. If you like some of my images and want to stick em on your desktop then have at it. If, however, you want to commercialize anything, please let me know and I'll give you a real good deal.
This site, like all the dot coms I own, is for sale. If you're interested in the name duskrider.com please contact me at: ed@dusrkider.com
If you want to get ahold of me for whatever reason, e-mail is by far the best way. Like many other addicted web citizens, I hover over my e-mail box like a bird of prey just waiting for that next juicy e-mail morsel. E-mail can be checked from anywhere, and I'm usually at a computer somewhere, but rarely at home.
E-Mail me at ed@duskrider.com
Also note: Like most of you flesh
and blood humans out there I get a lot of SPAM, and I don't mean the
SINISTER PLOT AGAINST
MAMMALS
kind, I mean the kind that clogs your e-mail server and generally wants to
make you spend some time with a Wilson volleyball on some deserted island.
Because of this, I suffer from an affliction I like to call 'floating finger syndrome'. It's
a terrible disease that causes the index finger of my right hand to menacingly
hover above the delete key whenever I open Outlook Express. I suggest that
you produce an appropriate subject line, one making me stop and hold my
merciless finger at bay. That way I
don't inadvertently subject your e-mail to the torture of the sub ether.
For example, "Ed! Now you can work at home and get your free psychic reading!",
probably wouldn't stand a chance. Just fair warning.
If, on the off chance, you would like to learn a little more about me personally, I invite you to visit my About Me page.
Again, thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy your stay.
-Ed-
You know what this is. It's one of those little legal statements you see on the bottom of all web pages that say something to the effect of "As stated before, everything on this page and all pages within www.duskrider.com are copyright Ed Zenisek. " Well, now you know.
